REI Senior Program Manager interview questions

Unprofessional, irresponsible and confused. I made it through the HR screen and spoke to the hiring manager who rudely asked me why I applied for a job two positions below my previous position. Honestly, I didn't know this as titles were similar, nor had I been told initially by HR. In fact, when I politely mentioned it via email to the HR contact, I let her know that although I didn't feel as though I was a good fit for the role, I was interested in the company. However, I heard no response at all. Not a peep. That's plain rude, irresponsible and unprofessional. Clearly management at this company are confused, aren't in-sync and have no problem wasting your time. Good luck!
