Interview
I applied online and received a call later that same morning . The person who called explained the role as working closely with the Operating Manager to learn the business and was just very vague. I never got a clear understanding for the role. She then invited me in for a face-to-face interview.
I did my research on the company because the conversation just seemed weird. The explanation for the work didn't add up.
So, with a quick glassdoor search I was able to find out this is a door-to-door sales jobs and workers are paid solely on commission
I e-mailed the person that I spoke with earlier to verify it was door to door sales and she said yes so I told her I was no longer interested in the opportunity.
Also, she kept writing "sells" when she meant "sales" . Super unprofessional.

Interview
The process was pretty quick. They did a preliminary interview with me on Monday, the 2nd round of interviews on Wednesday and I spoke to HR on Thursday and they offered me the position. Everyone I spoke with was direct and answered all my questions. Other marketing firms I've interviewed with never directly answer my questions which is super frustrating. They also had an emotional support animal there which was pretty cool. The lady at the front desk was really welcoming and they were watching parks and recreation in the lobby. Definetly a relaxed environment

Interview
Phone call with HR then interview at their office. The exec was direct and asked a lot of questions about my goals/perspective rather than my internships like I was expecting. The role seems pretty straight forward, setting up accounts for customers on construction projects. Seems like the money & growth potential is definitely there but you’ll have to work a lot of hours, especially if you’re a trainer. Second interview was more focused on experience/skills. They call your references a few hours after and call you to let you know their decision the next day.
