I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Rendel (London, England) in Nov 2024
Interview
Started with a screening call which included questions such as why Rendel, why are you applying for this role. Then next was a technical interview which included many technical questions and wanted to know about a specific university project to go into detail about. The final interview was a talk about the ICE training programme and any questions I have about the company. Overall, the interviews were okay however I hadn't brushed up on technical knowledge from earlier years in university so found the technical interview abit challenging. All the staff were very nice.
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rendel (London, England) in Feb 2018
Interview
Started off by receiving an email from HR requesting time for a telephone interview. This was very informative and useful for both sides.
Followed by a face to face interview with the line manager and senior staff, which was slightly technical and more personality based.
Final stage was an nterview with the line director, which involved general questions from both sides, and more of a selling point from the firm.
Overall, really enjoyable and easygoing interview process, that is difficult to fault. Compared with competitor outfits, who generally overcomplicate the process by throwing in bizarre tests.
