I had an interview for Product Owner position with Tech Talent Lead in Revolut and it was about nothing.
I was asked only a couple of standard questions without any interest in my work experience, as if there was no point in this interview.
Her speech unpleasantly surprised me by the fact that it was somewhat vulgar and unleashed. Actually, I like when the interview is informal, in a friendly manner, but in this case it was too much that it completely disappointed me as a fan of this company. If this person is the representative of the company, what kind of company is it? Is it really innovative, full of ambitions and plans to solve the most complex tasks facing it? If so, how will you find and recognise exceptional people for such tasks?
I got an answer for this question from her: «I don’t know. Maybe such people want to be the best in everything.»
Ok. These are great words. Do you really think you can find these people, talking to them in this manner about nothing?
On the one hand, I regret this interview did not give me a chance to show myself as a good specialist.
On the other hand, maybe your recruiting style is part of your secret strategy? ;D

HR screening > Problem solving session > Product Skills session > Bar Raiser interview. Overall good pricess, with good guidance provided before each interview and flexibility to choose interview times and fit your own schedule.
Started with a 15min screening with the recruiter, they explain the hiring process and the next step was a problem solving interview. Total of 4 steps finishing with a bar raiser interview with the CPO

They gave a high level prompt about an investment product that stopped growing. You had to ask for data and explain your thought process. The difficulty is that I had to be very specific with the datapoints asked.
