I applied online. I interviewed at Revolut (London, England) in May 2019
Interview
There was none. They didn't call me during the scheduled interview time. I e-mailed HR 30 mins after they were scheduled to call me, asking them why the interviewer was late and if I should still expect their call. Still nothing. So ridiculously unprofessional. I then spoke to someone who works their and apparently their culture is just as bad as they say in the articles, so I guess it's a blessing that I'm not going for this role.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Revolut in Oct 2020
Interview
The interview process was excellent. Smart people with good ideas and willingness to work hard. No BS type of interviews. Unluckily the position was not opened by decision of a Sr Manager - makes me question their viability in certain markets.
The whole process took about 2 months and consisted of 4 steps + 1 that never happened
1.- Conversation with Recruiting Team: Very relaxed and open conversation about the role, expectations and timeline.
2.- Home Task: Consisted of three sub-tasks: (1) Create a new partnership pitch deck (2) Prioritize a database of potential partners (3) Craft an email to manager suggesting a partnership
** after a week approximately **
3.- Country Manager Interview: Mostly a culture fit type of interview with some previous experience questions. Trying to test your background and your business skills. Easy interview.
4.- Team Director: Business skills interview and on-the-spot questions like: Which partnership would you launch today? How would you access a meeting with X team and Y firm? Also easy and relatable interview.
5.- Problem Solving: It was unfortunately scheduled more than 2 weeks out and it never ended up happening. The position was removed before I could have it. However, the TA team prepped me for the interview giving me time to think about a specially challenging project that I had worked on and to review some consulting-like cases (Profitability Issue Tree)
