I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Revolut (New York, NY) in Aug 2019
Interview
Phone call by hr and then code assignment. Next step is live coding. Then, interview with engineers.
The assignment is given 7 days with very abstract description. The only specific detail is spring framework is forbidden to use. Asking for more specific details will not receive a proper answer.
Assignment does not give feedback, so the criteria is unknown and unclear.
We are sorry to hear about your negative experience. We are paying extra attention to coming back to candidates with enough information and in due time. If you feel that hasn’t happened in your case, our Head of Engineering Recruitment (james.dawes@revolut.com) is happy to connect and take the conversation further.

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Revolut in July 2025
Interview
I was scheduled for a chat with a recruiter from Europe. This was changed last minute for someone from India instead who spoke poor English and was reading from a script. They included a few technical questions. The whole thing felt mechanical and impersonal.
