Interview
I have been contacted by one of Revolut's recruiter. We briefly chatted about my experience and what a role at Revolut would entail. Shortly after I confirmed my interest, the recruiter provided me with a first home task that I was given one week to complete. It was a straight-forward and interesting legal home task. I received a positive feed-back some days after.
The second step consists in a interview at the HQ with the person that would become my direct manager in case of successful application. I must say I was very impressed by the way the interview was conducted. My interviewer gave me a very detailed overview of the different projects Revolut was preparing and/or contemplating. He asked me about my motivation to join Revolut and what I could bring to the company based on my experience but also personality and skills. The interviewer put me at ease which made the interview both pleasant and interesting.
I got immediate positive feed-back and moved on to the 2d home-task which is a data analytical test where you have to identify a recurring problem in the KYC process and provide solutions. This test was quite challenging for me given my legal background. I was unfamiliar with the language and the tools I had to use to crack the problem. Once again, Revolut made sure that I fully comprehended the purpose of said test and the methodology I had to use.
I got positive feed-back and moved on to the last stage which consists in a meeting with the Head of the department in the London HQ. Once again the interview was interesting and rather informal. In view of the final interview, I got introduced to some of revolut's current employees to ask some questions about their experience and work at Revolut.
A few days after the final interview, I got positive feed-back.
Overall I must say that Revolut's staff was highly professional and thorough during the whole recruitment process. They always make sure that you have all the necessary information to prepare for interviews and to respond to the home-task. They always keep you updated throughout the process (also when they are running a bit behind schedule in busy periods). At the end of the process, I had a clear idea of the company's future and current projects which helps to make the final decision.

Interview
The interview process left extremely mixed feelings. First time in my prof career the interviewer didn't show up for the interview without any notice in advance. The recruiters rescheduled the call and even changed the interviewer (apparently, they couldn't align on the official explanation - either the person was just busy or messed up with the time zones....)
Problem solving interview - expect being put at the harsh environment for no reason. The interviewer even didn't try to be nice from the very beginning of the meeting. Do not expect any guidance about the case during the process as promised by the recruiters.
Honestly, so many red flags during the hiring process do not leave any thoughts about whether I should join this company... :)

Great interview, a lot of questions easy to answer for an experienced professional. The process was smooth and clear all the way. My personal experience was good and enjoyable. I would for sure recommend it.
