A short 10min chat with the recruiter, followed by a technical assessment home task, then followed by a 90minute deep technical discussion with tasks built into it.
Not heard anything back after nearly 2 weeks, communication very poor.

Interview
Overall interview process was straight forward with 3 stages. First stage was HR screening, pretty common. Second stage was home task, which was interesting enough. The third stage was Technical interview with one of the Security engineer. Technical interview was pretty clear with positive environment. However, the interview result was absolutely disappointing and not understandable. After Tech Interview I got response that they made the decision to not move forward at this time. I tried to get feedback what was the reason but got just silence. The most funniest thing that, I did well during all stages, even interviewer during Tech Interview said that home task well done and System Design challenge was pretty common, I provided the most classic architectural solution (secure and scalable without any overhead). In the result I got a feeling that Revolute does not have understandable selection criteria, you could be hight tech talent but get rejection because of personal sympathy or something else.
So what is in the result:
PROS
- Good tech tasks;
- Fast recruitment process;
CONS
- Absolutely no selection criteria, at least it is not understandable.
- No feedback;
- Absolutely subjective approach;
Hints to candidates:
Recruitment process is a coin flip. Even if you are skilled talent you could be rejected without any feedback. So, think twice before apply.
Hint to Revolute HR and Revolut top managers:
Develop understandable selection criteria. Provide feedback, especially if candidate pass through all stages.
