I applied for two roles with Rio recently. They verbally advised me that they would offer me a job but then didn't fill the role.
The same thing happened once more when I applied 6 weeks later when I applied for another role.
What a waste of time and effort.
Unfortunatly they already know who they want for the job, They usually just bring others in for the interviewing process to follow standard proceedure. If you do get a inerview externally make sure you bring your A game!
