I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Fresno, CA) in Mar 2018
Interview
I applied for sales associate position Wednesday afternoon and called to ask about my application being reviewed after applying. They took my name and said they'd give it to the hiring manager. Thursday afternoon I got a call for an interview for Friday morning. I go in to the interview and they (manager and assistant manager) start interviewing me for stock associate, even though I applied for sales. About four hours after the interview I got a call and she offered me the job, but I declined because I was not looking for that position.
The interview process at Ross Dress for Less consisted of meeting with a store manager to discuss my customer service experience, cash handling skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. I was asked situational questions about handling customers, teamwork, and resolving problems. The process was straightforward and focused on my availability, work ethic, and ability to support store operations
Fast and easy! They mainly asked about my previous work experiences and my availability. They also asked what great customer service is like to you and why I would be a good fit to the company.

Interview
I was interviewed over the phone and than asked to come in person. So I could meet the team and talk to them. It wasn't too hard but it was kind of a waste as I didn't get a call back.
