I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Honolulu, HI) in June 2015
Interview
Here's how the interview process goes:
-you apply
-they call you in for an interview
-come to the store for an interview
-it'll take 15 minutes at the most
You really shouldn't panic over the interview process. They are always looking to hire and encourage all types of people to apply. The only tedious part of the whole process is taking the skills test afterwards...it should take about an hour to complete.
The interview process at Ross Dress for Less consisted of meeting with a store manager to discuss my customer service experience, cash handling skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. I was asked situational questions about handling customers, teamwork, and resolving problems. The process was straightforward and focused on my availability, work ethic, and ability to support store operations
Fast and easy! They mainly asked about my previous work experiences and my availability. They also asked what great customer service is like to you and why I would be a good fit to the company.
I was interviewed over the phone and than asked to come in person. So I could meet the team and talk to them. It wasn't too hard but it was kind of a waste as I didn't get a call back.
