The process took 1 day. I interviewed at State Farm (Bloomington, IL) in Dec 2009
Interview
There was a phone screening interview followed by a paid trip to travel to Bloomington IL for a face to face interview with the manager and the team lead of the position being hired. It was very relaxed and very little technical questioning.

Question 1
Describe a situation where you could have made a better decision.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at State Farm (Tempe, AZ) in June 2019
Interview
The interviews are pretty traditional, but can vary based on the managers involved. The good ones ask for basic SAR (situation/action/result) style answers to questions that apply directly to the competencies needed for the job. The bad ones just ask you the "tell me about a time you failed" sort of questions. I think most interviewing managers have a fairly friendly interview style.

I applied through university. I interviewed at State Farm
Interview
Spoke with the State Farm team at my college recruiting event. Applied online. About a few weeks after, application updated to "HR is reviewing your application". Few days after I got an email to set up a phone interview. Interview consist of about 6 "tell me about a time" questions then you list your familiarity with technologies from 1-3. 2 Days after I got an email to schedule in person interview. Interview consist of "technical, tell me about a time questions and talking about projects you've done. Next day after returning from interview I got a call from HR with an offer. Pretty smooth process. Interviewers were cool, they want to know that you are competent. Accepted the offer I'm still in college the moment i wrote this won't be graduating in a few months so this is a great moral booster for my remaining time in college. Thanks State Farm
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at State Farm (Rock Hill, SC) in Dec 2015
Interview
The interview was straight forward, they asked how much experience did I have. Basically just needed customer service experience, and some knowledge with computers. They let me know that they will train you. I think the interview process was fairly easy. They were friendly and made you feel very comfortable. Overall the interview was very easy.
