I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at State Farm (Asheville, NC) in July 2014
Interview
One on one with the agent was asked about previous jobs, but I came from sales background which made it quick. It only lasted 45 minutes maximum. I really needed abother sales job to make money, but I was so wrong in choosing State Farm. The only people who make anything or the agents and the higher ups. The agents don't pay their employees to work and they don't work themselves. It is a lose lose.
The interview was a Zoom meeting with other applicants in the meeting. It was extremely stressful the interview left me feeling overwhelmed. It was the first interview I have participated in that was more a talent search than going off of experience.
I applied online. I interviewed at State Farm (Louisville, KY) in May 2022
Interview
The interview was very personal and relaxed. The owner of this agency was very flexible, understanding, and kind. Definitely made me feel comfortable when sharing about myself and my experience.

Question 1
What is one thing that you are looking for in a job?
The interview process is different for every agent. Some agent's want you to meet with their stuff and others just want you to meet with them. Fairly straightforward process with a focus on how you plan to produce.
