I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at State Farm (Minneapolis, MN) in Mar 2012
Interview
The process took two weeks. I connected with a field sales leader, had a phone interview, then applied online and had a phone screen with the HR coordinator and took a drug test. The process took about three weeks total.

Question 1
What do you want to take away from a summer internship at State Farm?
The process was a little bit unorganized and slow but overall great team and process. I would recommend it. Pro tip: bring lots of questions. It's an hour long, but only 30 minutes of them asking you questions.
Interview process was fair, lot of behavioral based questions and some seeing knowledge of the insurance process overall. Felt fairly standard and straightforward throughout the interview process with communication and timeline explained what to expect at each step
