I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at State Farm (Culver City, CA) in Apr 2009
Interview
I got a call the same day I applied online for the position to come in and take a pre-interview skills test. Four days later I went in for a fairly easy skills test and personality test, I was told my results the same day and was told I would be contacted later for a phone interview.
During the phone interview I was asked the typical "How do you motivate others" or "How do you deal with a team member who is pulling thier own weight."
Once we passed the standard questions I was asked what my salary req were and I made them give me a range which turned out to be waay below what I am making. That bein said we ended the interview and I was told if I found something more senior on thier job site to contact the recreuiter.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at State Farm (Roanoke, VA) in Apr 2020
Interview
About 50 applicants in total for the position, then the first interview was a cut down to 15 people. I JUST had my last interview and was told there was 5 people left. It was all done online or VIA Skype due to Covid and very easy. Wish me luck

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at State Farm (Chicago, IL) in June 2019
Interview
I applied on their site. In the past I had a HireVue interview which was recorded and then a skype interview, and I wasn't offered the job. This time I didn't do the recorded interview, but did get offered a Skype interview within 1-2 weeks of applying. When offered the job, they weren't willing to negotiate, although I earned 20k more than what they were offering. It was unfortunate because I wanted the job!
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at State Farm (Cleveland, OH) in Jan 2018
Interview
The process was quite easy and they moved along very quickly within 2 weeks everything was done. 1. You send the application and other forms via their site online. 2. You receive an email telling you that you have been selected for a phone interview, and you choose the time for the interview within so many days you have to decide. 3. If selected you are then to move forward with an in-person interview at the territory's main office, there is normally 2 people interviewing you, your Team Lead for that area and the regional manager as well. Then you receive a call back a few days later once they are done interviewing all the candidates, telling you whether or not you received the job.
