I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at State Farm in July 2010
Interview
The initial interview was with a recruiter-type person who explained what they were looking for and an overview of the process. At the end of the interview, I was invited to take a computer based personality test which lasted about an hour. The results were tabulated while I waited. I was then given the go ahead for proceeding further in the process. I met with an AFE (Agency Field Executive) who then invited me to attend a one day presentation at one of their regional offices. After attending the presentation, I was then assigned to a Specialist who is available to answer questions and assist me in putting together a business plan to see what type of sales an agent can expect to generate.

Interview
Fairly simple and she was very friendly and believable. I had a telephone interview and then came into the office and interviewed face to face. Took an assessment online and met current employees. I was informed of the expectations and was given an offer letter
