I applied online. I interviewed at State Farm (Baton Rouge, LA) in Feb 2024
Interview
Fairly simple. Met with employer, and we connected. I got my licensing done and started right after. Took me 2 months to get a good book of business. Employer has been great ever since and the people I work with are like family.
First had a 5-minute initial interview call. After that got an email back for an in-person interview. They rescheduled my in-person interview 40 minutes before it was supposed to happen because the boss was on vacation.
The interview process differs from agency to agency. I interviewed with one agent and it was a multi-interview process with additional team members. I ended up being hired by a different agent after one in person interview with the agency owner.
Super easy - the questions are basically do you have a pulse or not. As long as you are able to read, write and spell, you should be more than able to land a successful job interview with State Farm Insurance.
