      Compliance Analyst Interview

      17 July 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at State Street in June 2016

      Interview

Applied online and 3 weeks later I got a call from HR. The lady I dealt with was friendly and asked me why State Street and salary expectations. 1st round interview was set up a week later. I was interviewed by two members of the team who were also friendly. They went into detail about EVERYTHING on my CV which means you need to make sure you know your stuff inside out. Although it wasn't competency based per se. For everything they asked I made sure I gave an example of when I had done it. They were also interested in my extra curricular activity such as voluntary work and networks I joined. The HR lady also interviewed me for about 20 mins. Two days later I was told I would have a second interview with two senior people. They both were very friendly and relaxed. It wasn't competency based they wanted to get a better understanding of my current role. But again I made sure I used examples and tried to relate my role to the one I was interviewing for. They had made extensive notes on my CV so I knew they had did their research. Very positive and friendly and I tried to show that I was passionate about the role and working in the company
