I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Salem, OR) in July 2015
Interview
Over all it wasnt a very pleasant experience at all. the application way very long winded, and required a lot of testing, and the first interview they have you take is the most difficult pre recorded interview, where they only give you 30 seconds to prepare for such obscure STAR questions. like they barely even seemed related to anything. and god forbid should you not have the perfect answer after 30 seconds. i only got to that part, and from what i read it had another 5-8 steps before they even officially hire you.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
a lot of STAR based questions, very situational, very obscure. like "describe a time when you had to help blah de blah" or "describe a time when you accomplished something"
It’s a grueling process. Do several interviews before you go in for an actual interview. It’s more like a mixer. Meet a variety of people then do a one on one.
The interview went well, but when they asked about my desired length of stay, I explained that I wanted to stay for a considerable time, but still launch or perhaps grow the company. The interviewer then went on a rant about how they thought they would only stay at this job for a short while, and their enthusiasm seemed to wane.
After completing a phone interview there was an in person interview. There were two people doing the interview one person asked the questions the other took notes. It didn't last long and they were very nice.
