      Business Systems Analyst Interview

      12 Mar 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TEKsystems in Apr 2018

      Interview

I did about three interviews between TekSystems and the Client but it was all worth it in the end. I interviewed with my recruiter first - to determine if I would be a good fit or not. Then a phone interview was set up. Once you get past the phone interview I had a face to face interview with 3 people. I had to draw a diagram to describe how I would gather my acceptance criteria

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What is the primary role of a Business Analyst? What strengths should a BA have? Why should we hire you?

      Interview

TEKsystems has the most impressive means to recruit, screen and interview potential contractors with specific focus on IT and software/systems based opportunities. My Recruiter, the Account Management staff, and the general management team are very diligent and produce excellent results!

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Describe a situation within a project plan where it was necessary to address issues where time, level of deliverables, or budget was going to be negatively impacted and how did I mitigate the risk and the situation itself?

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at TEKsystems (Plymouth Meeting, PA) in Feb 2010

      Interview

Very informal, difficult to access what they were looking for. Some what silly questions about which web controls need to be used to display what types of information.
