I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Tech Mahindra (Calcutta) in Sept 2016
Interview
This was an on-campus interview for Tech Mahindra. The recruitment process was as follows:-
1) Aptitude Test- The online test contained 7 parts, one quantitative part, 3 english and the rest logical reasoning and critical thinking. We had to score 70% in each of the seven parts. There were no technical questions in this test. 70 questions in 50 mins.
2) Short Story based on a picture- After clearing the aptitude test, we had to write a short story based on a picture within 200 words and 12 minutes. This is easy if you are well versed with the english language and have experience with writing stories.
3)Technical Interview: This was one the main hurdles. They will ask you various questions from your CV, like Java, OS, DBMS basics and then move on to the projects that you've done. You have to remain confident and be truthful. The interview questions are given below.
4) HR Interview- This interview was pretty straightforward. He asked me a few questions on why I chose my trade, why Tech Mahindra, and what I will do if a recession strikes and the IT industry stops recruitment. Be confident and truthful.
And that was the end.
