The Next Web Program Manager (Conference) interview questions

Applied online, got invited for a phone call. Questions during the call were about how I would envision fulfilling the role, i.e. what kind of speakers I'd invite. Several very vague questions the interviewer had trouble formulating. After one week beyond the said date they'd inform me, got an email that I didn't make the next round, and the offer to call for feedback. Called the recruiter David who pretended that he couldn't hear me on the phone and hung up. Tested my phone to see whether it was a technical issue. Also responded via email and got no response. Not transparent process. Made me feel very uncomfortable.
