Was emailed by two recruiters to submit video responses to a set of 5-7 questions for the initial screen. A few days later, recruiters emailed again to schedule a series of phone interviews with four other field scientists as well as the manager. Two of these interviewers called me at least 20 minutes later than the scheduled time. Each call lasted apprx 30 mins and I felt like they went very well. When I inquired about when I might receive an update about the process, I was told a week maximum. After a week of no word, I contacted both recruiters to request an update. Was told another two business days at the latest. Another week after no word, I emailed the recruiters again for an update. No response. More than three months later and I never heard back from anyone. I realize they can’t personally contact every applicant, but I would think one out of the 7 people I talked to would take ten seconds to tell me they hired someone else. Totally fine if someone else was a better fit, but a company that doesn’t show common courtesy and lies to candidates isn’t a place where I would like to work.
