I applied online. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters
Interview
I was tasked with creating a presentation on the topic of my choice followed by interview style questions. The presentation portion was very odd. The interview was also conducted remotely with only one of the three individuals turning on their camera which added to the awkward nature of the interview.

Question 1
What do you think is the hardest part about working remotely?
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (Washington, DC) in June 2015
Interview
Phone interview with a recruiter followed by a fairly lax in-person interview. Certainly differs with position as the skills required vary wildly depending on which business unit you work in.

Question 1
How have you used your quantitative skillset in your previous job
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (Washington, DC) in Jan 2011
Interview
Applied via a Craigslist posting, they contacted me a while later (I didn't even remember applying at that point), we scheduled an interview over the phone. I showed up in a suit, I spoke with the HR person first for ~5-10 minutes and then the supervisor I would be working under for ~10 minutes. They seemed to be trying to gauge my personality. They asked me about my resume.

Question 1
No difficult questions; just be able to talk about anything on your resume, because they use that as a starting point for conversations.
