I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tim Hortons (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2012
Interview
handed in my resume to the store and got called for an interview 1 week later. it was a short, quick interview. i walked in and said i had an interview with ___. i waited 2 minutes and she arrived. we did our interview at the table in the stores, so everyone saw. it was maybe only 10-15 minutes long. she was nice and it wasn't intimidating. it actually felt like we were just having a conversation. she hired me on the spot
It was a very easy process. In general, it was a lot of behavioral questions which made the interview feel very stress free. I personally felt that it was more like a conversation which made it very easy to sit through and answer.
Good. they asked good questions. for example. Why would you like to work here. what do you like about tim hortons. do you like our coffee. do you know what a double double is.
It was a pretty relaxed and straightforward interview. The interviewer mainly asked about my past work experience, customer service skills, and availability. They also explained the job responsibilities and what a typical shift would look like.
