I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Travelers (Hartford, CT) in July 2025
Interview
HR/recruiter was quick and the overall process was smooth. 1 phone interview with HR and six in-person interviews for entry-level position. It was obvious they already had an internal candidate selected, wish there was more transparency before I invested the time.
Since there were four or five openings they didn't disclose all the responsibilities of the job and the job descriptions are very vague so be sure to ask lots of questions
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Travelers in Oct 2024
Interview
I had a lengthy interview process with Travelers, starting with a recruiter phone call in mid-September, followed by a virtual interview with two managers in early October, and concluding with a virtual final interview with three managers in late October. Throughout the process, the interviewers were polite and professional. However, during the final interview, the atmosphere became more tense and serious, which made it challenging to perform well. The tone of the conversation felt more like intense questioning, which created a less comfortable environment and impacted the overall experience.
Despite following up after the final interview, I did not receive any communication regarding the outcome. Instead, I received an automated rejection through the candidate portal weeks later, rather than being directly contacted by a recruiter. This lack of follow-up left me feeling uncertain and disappointed after investing significant time and effort into the process. Overall, while I appreciated the opportunity, the prolonged timeline and lack of communication were drawbacks in what otherwise seemed like an interesting work environment.
