I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Travelers
Interview
Long interview process (2+ months), but now I understand why it's necessary. The job isn't easy, and they want to make sure they're selecting the right people. You need to be a master at time management, multi-tasking and customer service in order to get through the day without pulling your hair out. Once you get through the first few months, you start to "get it" and there is a ton of freedom and individual responsibility (at least in our office) to learn and grow at your own pace. NO MICROMANAGEMENT! Coming to Travelers was the best career move I've ever made. They are a class act, promote and pay generously and value the thoughts and opinions of their employees. I'm in for the long haul.

Question 1
Standard behavioral questions. Asked if I knew about certain insurance terms. Nothing out of the ordinary. I had a total of three interviews and a job shadow.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Travelers in Jan 2017
Interview
The process took quite a while. I applied on 12/19/2016. I was called for my first phone interview around January 15, The face to face interview was Jan 30th and I didn't get a call back with an offer until March 3rd. The recruiter for the phone interview seemed to be in a hurry to finish the phone interview. I didn't think I was going to get a call back for the face to face she rushed through so fast. The face to face was a great experience. Be prepared to spend three hours in the office!! I interviewed with two claims managers, then sat with a representative who performs the job and then I met with the department manager for am interview. They were all very friendly and very attentive. Some places the interviewers are so intent on writing everything you say that they never look up or acknowledge your answers. The managers I interviewed asked additional questions, gave feedback and responded to my questions very thoroughly.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Travelers (Nashville, TN) in July 2015
Interview
Applied online. Received a call back from their Talent Acquisitions department in CT. She asked some basic questions, specifically, have you ever applied with Traveler's before? Have you ever been convicted of a charge? What made you choose Traveler's? She then offered a face to face interview, which was an Open House. I accepted, which was a week later. They had the Open House from 8 to 5, there were a lot of people there. I met face to face with a manager from that specific department. She asked me what I did for my current employer and past employer. Also, she asked me a couple of situational questions. Specifically, if I ever had a difficult co-worker? After the 1:1 we were put in a large room with everyone else and were told about benefits and other employee perks. About 2 days later I was sent an e-mail and asked if I could come to another interview with the department managers as a panel. I accepted, they asked me some of the same questions, which were situational again. A week later I was asked to interview with the gentlemen over the entire department via telephone. He asked me the same questions. Another week later I was offered the position.
