Phone screens by a recruiter followed by a conversation with the hiring manager. Went to an onsite, everyone was great and friendly. Grateful for the opportunity, hope to one day be a part of their amazing team.
Sooooo lengthy.
There was many steps and rounds, and felt like the mgmt interviewing knew from start how the fall out would be.
I went thru several rounds (5) and spent so much time preparing. the process was exhausting.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Twitch (San Francisco, CA) in May 2022
Interview
Initial phone screen with recruiter, followed by a 50 minute phone call with the Hiring Manager. I was invited to the virtual on-site interview which consisted of 5 interviews in one day with a group of key team members.
The discussion with the hiring manager was mainly around traditional PM knowledge - just showing your thought process of how you would take an idea from inception to production.
The discussions during the on-site interviews were mainly behavioral, a lot of "describe a time when...". They are probing here to see how your experiences align with the company's core values.
I had a very positive experience with everybody I spoke with. I hope to some day be a part of the Twitch team.
