Was reached out to via email by a DEI advocate who was responsible for recruitment for a new engineering team, and we set up a phone screening. During the phone screening, she gave a solid breakdown of the work I'd be doing, the team I'd be on, and the process I was going to go through.
Two days after the phone screening, I had a virtual 4-round interview asking very simple programming questions, but I let the pressure get to me as it was my first big interview. The engineers I spoke to was very transparent and kind except for one engineer who just seemed like he would rather be anywhere else in the world.
Got my rejection a few hours after the interview.
