I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at US Air Force in June 2009
Interview
Very long process took at least 2 months. You have to speak with the recruiter numerous times, all of which are not interviews more so to sign paperwork. If you have to do any waivers the process will take even longer.
Spoke with the recruiter prior to going to MEPS. I Took ASVAB to confirm eligibility. If you don't like working outside, do not select this job. The culture of the flight line can be difficult, but if you work hard you will be fine.
