I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at US Army (Birmingham, AL) in July 2010
Interview
Do not trust your recruiter.. do your own research. Consult others who are already in the military. Remember your value, don't let them give you less than what you deserve. When you first visit recruiter, bring diploma and any additional schooling you have.... be sure to let them know if you are bilingual or have any civilian certifications. This will help.. know what job you want to do... I STRONGLY encourage you to try and be an officer as they get paid way more than enlisted, plus they don't have to live in the barracks.
