You walk in, its pretty busy because of the surge in 2008, you see a recruiter, you pick a job, you fill out paperwork, you fill out a security form, you take a drug test, you get a date for MEPS processing, more security forms (you probably didn't do it right), you sign a contract, you go to basic, you fill out more security forms (you definitely don't know what you are doing), you play phone tag for everyone you ever met, you finally complete security forms.

Interview
Overall, the interview process was great as the recruiter gave a step-by-step way to sign the contract with the MOS (job training) that you'd like to pursue. Depending on the contract, you may or may not be able to obtain the sign-on bonus, along with other college loan repayment bonuses.

You have to take a test to verify you have the intellectual properties to be able to handle the job as well as be able to pass basic physical fitness goals. For the most part the recruiters are interested in you joining and will help you get into a job, even if you don't meet the qualifications for this job. You also need a clean background history to be able to do this job.
