I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at US Army (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2011
Interview
Pointless. Might as well signed the contract with my eyes closed because the recruiters don't care what your answers were. The recruiter pretended to know what every MOS was about and proceeded to describe each. I later found out that the particular job field I chose has nothing to do with the job I signed up for. Recruiters pray on young adults that are desperate for money and will constantly contact you until respond how they want you to respond. If I could go back and not sign up, I would.
Got a call from them, scheduled a meeting, then show up ,dress up , remember your information and bio , do not be nervous, be confident, knowing what you can bring to the table
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at US Army in Jan 2023
Interview
A easy interview process. The Army cares about Potential. There is a panel of six First Sergeants and the President of the Board is the BN CSM. There is also a recorder there transcribing your answers
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at US Army (Lakehurst, NJ) in July 2019
Interview
Just listen and nod, recruiters lie but it's all just q mind game. They need you more than you need them, make them work to earn your enlistment, you'd be surprised what you can get from them, make sure it's all in writing
