I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Unilever (Port Sunlight, England) in June 2013
Interview
There was a HR telephone soft skills interview followed up by a face to face technical interview. The HR interview was a soft skills setup and the face to face was a technical skills interview. Not this could vary from role to role - however, the HR interview is generally common to all roles. It was a painless process and the offer was given about 48 hours later. There is a lengthy form to fill in and lots of leaflets to read - but overall, the whole process was very professional and really smooth.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
For the soft skills (it may have changed by now) - it was things like "Describe a time when you had to deal with a difficult situation" and "Tell me a time when you had to learn something really quickly to progress a project"
