I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Unilever in Jan 2015
Interview
Applied online - there are essays but no assessments, just fyi - and attended career fair. Was asked to interview on the spot at career fair. Interview was basic behavioral questions and then reasons why you liked the company. Not nearly as strenuous as other interviews I've had. Heard back with an offer in about 10 days.
Difficult in terms of what to expect but went well in terms of how it went around the topics regarding certain brands and relevant topics around such topics. This meant undergoing different strategies to prepare.
HR screening and questions via email, given assignement to test analytical skills using excel, and interview with consultancy - like business case study and behavioral questions to apply the STAR method

They give you questions to answer, and you are given around 3.5 minutes to figure out a response. Afterwards, they give you a case study of sorts where you explain how you would go about conveying this information to someone else.
