I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UnitedHealth Group (Nashville, TN) in Mar 2015
Interview
This was for a two-year intern-style position following my Bachelor's in CS. I hooked up with UnitedHealth when they were recruiting on my campus. The first interview was an hour face-to-face on campus the day after the job fair. The second was an on-site interview in their Nashville office with a group of candidates. Several group-style presentations talking up the company and two one-on-one interviews with management. No direct coding questions, only general discussions about my work style and how I'd fit with the company, as well as discussing some of the projects they were currently working on. I guess they figured that if I had the degree, I could pick up whatever they needed me to do.

Interview
First contact after applying was a 10 minute recruiter call to talk about my experience. Process felt very rushed and did not leave any time for me to ask any questions. I don't think this was necessarily the fault of the recruiter but rather the short time limit set on the call. Afterwards I was asked to do a "pre recorded" interview asking mostly about DevOps concepts - yet another opportunity for me to be bombarded with questions and not be given the chance to ask any. The whole process just seemed like a red flag.
