Interview
The interview process took approximately two months. The process begins with resume/application submission online. If you are selected, you are asked to fill out a one to two page assessment of your past leadership experiences and activities. This is later used in an hour-long phone screening interview. If you advance, there is a video-conference interview between you and three interviewers (in my case, this included two current PDP associates and one senior manager). Each of these interviews included a behavioral and case component. Then, there is a leadership 'test' that you will have to submit online - this takes approximately 90 minutes. The test includes some behavioral and descriptive aspects where you choose various words to describe yourself. There is also a 'game' part that resembles an IQ test, in which you are asked to evaluate different patterns and choose the pattern that best fits the sequence. Finally, you will be invited to "Assessment Day" at one of their campus locations. This consists of a dinner with PDP candidates, current PDP associates, and several members of senior leadership. The next day, you will go through three sets of interviews, with two interviewers each - a case interview, a behavioral interview, and a presentation. The presentation interview consists of an overarching 'theme' with a question that you are tasked with discussing and answering. You are asked to prepare presentation materials ahead of time (prior to Assessment Day), then give a 10 to 15 minute presentation answering the pre-assigned question.

Began with a prerecorded interview, followed by a short and informal phone call. From there a more formal interview with higher level staff, with the possibility to move on to an assessment day.

Interview
Submitted my resume and received an email asking me to complete a video assessment days later. After finishing the pre-recorded video I heard back from the HR very soon, who scheduled a phone interview with me. This phone interview was very short and the recruiter only asked about my leadership experience. The next round was a virtual group interview with managers.

It was a four step process. The first was a phone interview, then an interview with the hiring manager on zoom, another zoom interview with a manager, and then the assessment day with VP’s of UNUM.
