I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at VMware (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2019
Interview
I applied on their website. Recruiter reached out over email and linkedin as well. She setup a 30 mins video call with hiring manager. I sent her email and tried calling her, so that I can ask few basic questions about this position and company but she was too busy for it. Hiring manager told me about team and work that they do. Then he asked about me and my background. Within 4 days recruiter sent a next steps email. Since I was in same town, she setup an onsite interview. It was an onsite tour by same hiring manager, who again had 20 - 25 mins discussion with me about my Android knowledge. It was followed by 3 interview rounds of 45 mins each. First round was of Android questions. Intetviewer was not asking questions to the point and left me guessing, most of the times, what is the question. Second round was design discussion, where I should have focussed on scalability. Last round was oops principle. Overall it was good interactive experience, except for immature discussion in first round of interview.
