I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Vanguard (Valley Forge, PA)
Interview
Applied online, an alumni from my college works there and helped move my resume along. Phone interview was first some basic questions about why I wanted to work at Vanguard, what was important to me in looking for an employer, and what I might want to do at Vanguard in the future - then it went into STAR questions, talk about your strengths and weaknesses, a time you had to take a leadership position etc etc
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Vanguard (Dallas, TX) in Oct 2022
Interview
Mostly behavioral interview questions with along with a roll play exercise. There were a few technical questions regarding how the equity and debt markets work, but if you have take an entry level finance class then it should be pretty basic
Passed Coding exam, took Behavioral interview, then got completely ghosted. I would at least expect a rejection from someone who took the time to interview me, but I guess their HR needs some work
