I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Verizon in Aug 2024
Interview
The interview started out with an overall explanation of what the job would entail. I was asked two questions during the interview; “When was a time you went above and beyond for someone?”, “Do you think you could do the job?” Interviewer was very nice and personable.
not difficult. it went smoothly. long hiring process but recruiters often respond quickly. got interview the next week. but it took some time to hear back from them. however, it's not very hefty
Talked about myself, experience and goals. Then they had me and the two people interviewing me run through a mock sale, take coaching, then had us run through a sale again.
The whole Verizon process felt like wandering a maze that kept adding new hallways. It took multiple applications and assessments just to reach a recruiter, and once I finally did, the communication went quiet. Four weeks just to get to that point, and then no follow-up at all. For a role that sounded urgent, the month-and-a-half timeline made the experience feel slow, disorganized, and ultimately unproductive.
