I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Verizon (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2018
Interview
Call from recruiter. Invited to an interview with several managers. I honestly have never encountered such a negative interview experience before. The hiring managers had rugged looking beards. You guys could have at least trimmed up before an interview. The managers were also VERY rude in response to my questions. One of the managers literally ignored several of my questions. Very unprofessional and I am not impressed.

Question 1
Walk me through your resume.
Why would you want to leave your industry right now (your industry is hot right now)?
I applied online. I interviewed at Verizon in June 2025
Interview
The requisition lied about hybrid work. The first person that I interviewed with immediately said that the role was all in person. I asked why it said it was a hybrid role then and only required 8 office days per month and she said if they have something wrong at the store then we can work remotely. Also the hours listed were lied about too. The requisition stated hours between 9-7 and then the recruiter said it’s 10:30-8. Completely ridiculous and flat out false information just to get people to apply
Be prepared for any curve ball questions and have good story telling situations. Learn the company priorities before interview. Be confident in your interview. Learn who is the hiring manager.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to go above and beyond.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Verizon (Pittsburgh, PA) in Aug 2021
Interview
The interview process included a phone interview with HR, followed by another with the hiring manager. It then progressed to two in-person interviews, which required a demo that was thorough but not overly technical.
