I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon in May 2010
Interview
I knew someone in the company but after handing off my resume, I was in complete control. They did a phone pre screening which was very easy. I had to the next day go and give the assessment test which was stressful but obviously I passed, not everyone did so it wasn't that simple. I passed and was invited to do a phone interview which made me think I would not get the job but then I got a call back a couple of weeks down the line for a final interview which was in person and went excellent enough to be walked up to see someone else higher up that told me I had the job and to just wait for the official call. The people and the work environment is amazing, you have to be you say you are: self motivated and willing to work hard.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Verizon (Cincinnati, OH) in May 2026
Interview
The interview was conducted virtually. It was for the customer service position. Mostly I was questioned about how I would handle various scenarios, for assisting clients. I was asked some real world examples and asked to handle them.

Question 1
How would you handle an angry or disgruntled customer?
Lengthy and the paperwork is extremely confusing to fill out and submit. Thank you. But other than that really nice people. They hire through a 3rd party called Rose International…. Very helpful people
Unprofessional interview, and unfair. Being bilingual and many years of customer service experience they decided to pass due to many years of experience. The interviewer also looked unorganized and was bias.
