The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Verizon in June 2015
Interview
First of all it took them a week to contact me regarding my resume. I had a phone interview and then scheduled an assessment a few days later. The assessment was a joke and in no way can that be used to gauge what type of an employee you will be. I took the assessment which lasted over an hour and then was led down to the lobby and was told that I failed and that I could reapply in six months. No thank you!
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Verizon (Cincinnati, OH) in May 2026
Interview
The interview was conducted virtually. It was for the customer service position. Mostly I was questioned about how I would handle various scenarios, for assisting clients. I was asked some real world examples and asked to handle them.

Question 1
How would you handle an angry or disgruntled customer?
Lengthy and the paperwork is extremely confusing to fill out and submit. Thank you. But other than that really nice people. They hire through a 3rd party called Rose International…. Very helpful people
Unprofessional interview, and unfair. Being bilingual and many years of customer service experience they decided to pass due to many years of experience. The interviewer also looked unorganized and was bias.
