I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Verizon (Little Rock, AR) in Dec 2010
Interview
The person who called to interview me over the phone seemed unprofessional to say the least. It was basically someone reading questions to me off of a sheet of paper. Most of the questions weren't actually about my employment history or my competence as a future employee. They were almost all questions referring to a Verizon document that I was supposed to have read - that I never received. If I misunderstood something or asked a question, I received either a response basically repeating exactly what they had already said to me, or an awkward long pause followed by more questions. It was very clear to me that I wasn't being interviewed by a manager of any kind.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Verizon (Cincinnati, OH) in May 2026
Interview
The interview was conducted virtually. It was for the customer service position. Mostly I was questioned about how I would handle various scenarios, for assisting clients. I was asked some real world examples and asked to handle them.

Question 1
How would you handle an angry or disgruntled customer?
Lengthy and the paperwork is extremely confusing to fill out and submit. Thank you. But other than that really nice people. They hire through a 3rd party called Rose International…. Very helpful people
Unprofessional interview, and unfair. Being bilingual and many years of customer service experience they decided to pass due to many years of experience. The interviewer also looked unorganized and was bias.
