Interview Process: 1. Online coding assessment on CodeSignal (12 questions, 1 hr) 2. Phone screen with Talent Acquisition (20 mins) 3. General coding interview (1 hr) 4. Mobile coding interview (1 hr) 5. Design & behavioral interview with hiring manager (1 hr)

New Zealand based, 2 interviews in total, 1 HR interview and 1 technical interview. Everything seemed normal and I got a verbal offer in email, and I replied and accepted the offer. But just 1 day later, they withdrew the offer for no valid reason. According to the recruiter, they gave the offer to another candidate. No idea what happened behind the scene, but definitely a bad business practice, especially for such a big company. My speculation is maybe the other candidate rejected the offer initially, but later accepted it. Hence causing chaos in the process.
