I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (Indianapolis, IN) in July 2017
Interview
Orientation wasn't too long, we were in a group of 10 different new hires. We talked and went over the rules and regulations of the store. We went over pay raises after a few months. The interview was overall easy because it was also orientation. It's like they pretty much hired you over the phone. It was a swift process that keeps the store moving.
The job went straight to Orientation without any interviews all the work they showed me on day one was also with a group of people during hiring process and while it happened during orientation
I applied online. I interviewed at Walmart (Locust, NC) in Jan 2025
Interview
The interview process was extremely simple. It began with introductions, then transitioned into a more structured format, wherein I was asked why I wanted to work there, my previous experience, and what skills I could bring to the company. Finally, the job offer was extended.
