I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (Moncton, NB) in Oct 2018
Interview
Initially the HR representative told that the panel interview (through Adobe Connect) will be "blind" i.e. interviewers will not know the background of candidates to guarantee the fair selection process but after interview when I was communicating with other candidates it turned out that hiring manager knew them and had phone interview before the panel interview. The impression was that the panel interview was kind of being held artificially just for reporting to Walmart HQ in US and they knew already whom they are going to select. They showed almost no interest in answers provided.
Another impression was that in terms of equal opportunities, background and skills preference always given to locals. Newcomers has lower chances to be hired for managerial roles.
