I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walmart (Dixon, CA) in Jan 2016
Interview
Brief, straight to the point. I had a friend who worked there so she set me up for the interview. Manager was friendly, I don't feel like writing anymore. Its been 2 years and the fact that glassdoor requires me to write 30 words is ridiculous.
The interview was straightforward received me well. i was then hired after around 3 days of waiting. I would say the hardest part was getting the application through enough times for it to work.
Interview process is pretty chill, especially if you are already a Walmart employee since they are a vendor company. If you have cashier experience elsewhere, it's a major plus. Apply either on official Walmart website or Job portals like LinkedIn or Indeed. Initial HR screening round plus on-site job related questions could be expected.
