I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Walmart in Sept 2018
Interview
Once the online application was finished I was called the next day and interviewed the following day. A very, very quick response which was nice.
The interview itself was very comfortable, stress free and the interviewers very nice.
I was called within hours with their answer. I like that efficiency. Although the position was not a good fit do to the lack of retail experience, I was encouraged to seek hourly employment if only for one day a week to learn retail in order to apply at a later date. I liked that as I wouldn’t have thought of it. I could seek full time employ elsewhere but keep my foot in the door. Also, even at one day a week I could transfer to other stores. Great advice.
I applied online. I interviewed at Walmart (Lunenburg, MA)
Interview
It was a very long interview. The store manager kept me waiting for about twenty minutes. Afterward, I was led into an office, where I met the manager of another store. They both took turns asking me questions, very in-depth questions, like: 1) "name an instance when you were required to execute judgement in a situation based on information. In hindsight, what would have you done differently, should that situation arise in the future?"
From what I gleaned from the interview, the demands and the hours of this position are grueling.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (Jacksonville, FL) in July 2018
Interview
The interview was held at the Ramada Inn in Jacksonville, FL. We were all seated in teams of 5 or 6 around a round table. Each team would rotate around each table and hear managers talk about personal brand, adaptability, building relationships and Q&A with Assistant Manager Trainee graduates. Be prepared to introduce yourself and answer questions regarding those topics when asked, then each team sat with one manager one on one for an interview, but your group were all in the same room. This process was from 8:30 to 12:30. We were told the round table discussions were 40% weight and the interview 60%, so make sure you participate in the discussions. All interview questions were 2 or 3 questions in one so make sure you use the STAR method. Tell me a time?, what steps you took? The interview was Tues and we were told we would know by Friday if we got the job.

Question 1
These questions are not verbatim, but essentially this is what I was asked.
Tell me a time you had to deal with a difficult co-worker?
Tell me a time you had to analyze data?
What would you do if the supply truck was not being emptied on time to place items on the floor?
Tell me about yourself?
Tell me a time you used good judgement?
