The interview process for the Walmart internship was organized and straightforward. Recruiters were professional, asked clear behavioral and situational questions, and communicated next steps promptly, making the experience stress-free and informative.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart in Sept 2018
Interview
A lot of easy behavioral questions for half of the interview. The other half was a case, which was also fairly easy. Most of the behavioral questions had to do with walmart specifically. They also asked if the location in arkansas would be a problem.

I applied online. I interviewed at Walmart (New York, NY) in Oct 2025
Interview
It was pretty normal. I wouldn’t say it was any different than other interviews I’ve had with other potential employers. Some of the questions were hard, but some of them were really simple. I wondered how many people they were interviewing.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Walmart (Bentonville, AR)
Interview
Conversational, interviewed by 2 people. All questions had a negative spin to them, so be sure to practice the STAR method and concluding on a positive takeaway. From what I remember, there were 5-6 questions in total.
